About the Project
Talking
Dumbarton is our biggest project to date, taking
two years to complete and made possible thanks to
the support of the Heritage Lottery
Fund.
It comprises two
DVD's edited from over forty hours of interviews
(the unedited material going into the
archives).
We also put
together an education kit made up of the DVD's,
teachers' notes and worksheets.
Free copies of
the kit have been distributed to all local schools
and day centres for the elderly.
Schools outside
the area have said they would like to use the
material as a
resource.
The Launch - Local
Radio
We launched the
education kit in Dumbarton Library on 11th October.
